The week ahead
ZOO Digital Group PLC (LON:ZOO), the provider of cloud-based localisation and digital distribution services for the global entertainment industry, reports interim results on Tuesday. In its AGM trading update it said it expected to deliver double-digit revenue growth in the six-month period to 30 September 2020, in spite of the challenging industry backdrop in which the suspension of new TV and film productions is approaching six months.
1Spatial PLC (LON: SPA), which provides location master data management software and solutions, is holding a customer event “2020 Smarter Data, Smarter World Conference” this week. While the conference is primarily aimed at 1Spatial customers it also provides an opportunity for other interested parties to listen to keynote speakers, industry leaders and the group’s in-house experts about topics designed to illuminate the links between location data and value across the wider GIS (geographic information system) community.
GFT Technologies SE (ETR:GFT), the Stuttgart-based technology service provider, reports third-quarter results on Thursday. In the first half, revenue grew by 5%, with organic growth of 4%, as the group’s top two clients (Deutsche Bank and Barclays) continued to contract while other customers grew revenues by 19%. The new insurance business jumped by 32%.
Across the pond, technology-related businesses expected to report earnings this week include ZoomInfo Technologies, Amdocs, Corsair Gaming, Datadog, Applied Materials, Cisco Systems and SINA Corp.
Apple is holding its third 2020 event this autumn, "One more thing," on Tuesday, which is expected to be all about the Mac. The event is expected to unveil the first Macs which have Apple Silicon Arm-based chips.
