Great Portland Estates COVID-19 fund hands out £325,000

Great Portland Estates PLC (LON:GPOR) said it has now distributed £325,000 from the GPE COVID-19 Community Fund, to groups most impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The money came from director fee waivers, bonus reductions and fee waivers and donations by GPE that were matched by the West End property owner.

Reflecting its presence in the UK capital, Great Portland said the donations primarily went to charities in London.

In total, 28 charities were supported including the National Literacy Trust, Hestia - The Phoenix Project, the Young Westminster Foundation and the London Wildlife Trust.
