Sky and Space Global Ltd (ASX:SAS) has entered into a new strategic alliance with Virgin Orbit related to launch services and mutual reseller agreements to support future growth.
Virgin Orbit will also acquire a stake in SAS.

Launch services agreements
SAS and Virgin Orbit will enter into two new commercial agreements relating to launch services and mutual reseller arrangements.
The companies will also sign a three-year, A$1 million per annum launch services and consulting agreement, starting July 1, 2021.
In addition, the two parties will enter into a mutual reseller agreement, whereby Virgin Orbit will promote SAS’ services to its current customer base, and SAS will refer and resell Virgin Orbit’s launch services.
SAS is a satellite company regulated by the UK’s Space Agency and has expertise in communications, satellite, and software industry.
The company’s core business is to provide communications infrastructure and services based on nanosatellite technology and was the first company to build and operate a nanosatellite based commercial telecom network.
