Bloomsbury Publishing' reports a page turning first half performance - with a revenue rise of 10%

Bloomsbury Publishing PLC’s (LON:BMY) Nigel Newton talks to Proactive London’s Katie Pilbeam about their latest set of results which revealed revenues rose by 10% to £78.3m from £71.3m the year before, driven by strong online book sales and e-book purchases.

Newton describes these results as a 'surprise' with trading in the first half producing a year-on-year profit growth of 60% to £4m. He goes on to explain the most popular genres and themes, which have been escapism, kindness and cooking!

With most people having more time at home to both read and cook.

Newton also gives his personal tips on how to write a bestseller!
