Directa Plus PLC's (LON:DCTA) Giulio Cesareo talks to Proactive London about the signing of a deal with NexTech Batteries, a Lithium Sulphur batteries firm based in Nevada.
Cesareo explains the 'long journey' which began back in 2013 analysing opportunities in lithium batteries which are now beginning to come to fruition. And in 2017 after analysing their research, they began attracting a lot of attention in this battery domain.
Under the agreement, Directa will supply NexTech with its pristine graphene nanoplatelets, a key raw material for manufacturing the cathode of Lithium Sulphur batteries.
In terms of future opportunities, Cesareo acknowledges the market to be worth '$47m now and moving close to $100m', which he is keen to capitalise on.
