AstraZeneca PLC (LON:AZN) has announced Forxiga and Trixeo Aerosphere have been recommended for approval by the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) of the European Medicines Agency.
Forxiga is a treatment of symptomatic chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction, meaning the blood being pumped out of the heart is less than the body needs, in adults with and without type-2 diabetes and has already been approved in the US.
