Brookside Energy Ltd (ASX:BRK) has raised more than $1.687 million to progress acquisition and development activities in the prolific Anadarko Basin of Oklahoma in the US.
The raising was completed with the closing of an offer of up to 300 million options which was fully subscribed.
This involved subscribing for a fully paid ordinary share, exercisable at $0.011 on or before June 30, 2022, at an issue price of $0.001 per new option.
The option offer raised $300,000 with the issue of new options remaining subject to shareholder approval at a general meeting for which a notice is being prepared by the company.
When combined with the entitlement offer, including a shortfall offer, the company has raised a total of $1,687,493.
Leasing facility extension
In addition, wholly-owned subsidiary Anadarko Leasing, LLC has reached an agreement with Oklahoma Energy Consultants, Inc (OEC) to extend the maturity date of the Anadarko Leasing Facility, made available to Anadarko by OEC, to July 31, 2021.
Brookside has executed an agreement with Anadarko and OEC under which it has agreed to issue 68 million shares and 68 million new options to OEC to satisfy all interest payable by Anadarko in respect of the leasing facility through to December 31, 2020.
The issue of the new options to OEC also remains subject to the receipt of shareholder approval.
