Archer Materials Ltd (ASX:AXE) has bolstered its board with corporate finance expertise through the appointment of Ken Williams as an independent non-executive director.
Williams is independent chairman of Statewide Super, a South Australian-based industry super fund with more than $10 billion in funds under management.
He has more 30 years’ experience in corporate finance and has held senior executive, director and chair positions with leading ASX-listed companies.

Extensive experience
Williams’ extensive experience in corporate finance includes mergers, acquisitions, divestments and corporate reconstructions.
He has also served as chairman of AWE Ltd, chair of Havilah Resources Ltd (ASX:HAV) and director of Queensland Cotton Limited and has held senior finance executive roles with Newmont Corporation, Normandy Mining and Qantas.
Williams is a member of Statewide Super’s Investment Committee and Remuneration & Nomination Committee and will serve as a member of the Archer board’s Audit and Risk Management Committee.
