Legend Mining substantial holder Creasy Group increases stake to 30.73% by exercising options

Legend runs the Rockford Project in Fraser Range, WA in partnership with high-profile explorer Mark Creasy and his Creasy Group and Independence Group.

Legend Mining Limited (ASX:LEG) substantial holder Creasy Group has increased its stake in Legend to 30.73% after exercising options to acquire 200 million shares for $8 million.

Legend runs the Rockford Project in Fraser Range, WA in partnership with high-profile explorer Mark Creasy and his Creasy Group and nickel-copper-gold-zinc and silver producer Independence Group NL (ASX:IGO) (FRA:IDZ) (OTCMKTS:IPGDF).

Independence Group has a 13.31% interest in Legend.

The Rockford Project extends over 3,088 square kilometres of land prospective for an ore body similar to the Nova-Bollinger nickel-copper deposit.

Legend and its partners have a series of joint ventures going for the project and varying stakes in the various tenements that make up Rockford.

Massive nickel-copper sulphides

Legend continues to build upon the Mawson discovery at the Rockford Project with 12.95 metres of massive nickel-copper sulphides intersected in a diamond drill hole earlier this month.

This massive sulphide was within a mineralised zone of more than 90 metres which also included 7.55 metres of semi-massive sulphide.
