IQGeo Group Plc (LON:IQG) has unveiled a significant new contract with US company TDS Telecommunications for its IQGeo Platform and Workflow Manager software.
The AIM-listed company, which develops geospatial productivity and collaboration software, will provide 240 user licenses so TDS can improve construction efficiency to support its fibre network expansions.

One of the fastest-growing telecoms operators in the US, TDS delivers high-speed internet, TV entertainment and phone services to nearly 900 rural, suburban and metropolitan communities with over 1.2mln connections across the US.
IQGeo said its Workflow Manager software will automate and digitalise the construction task process by integrating data from other design and management applications.
“To properly manage construction tasks, we need a mobile app that is simple for our staff and contractors to use and works in rural areas,” said Ken Paker, Senior vice president and chief technology officer at TDS.
“Many construction areas do not have network connectivity so the geospatial workflow management and as-built capture capabilities must operate offline.”
Earlier this month, IQGeo said it had won an US$800,000 new contract for software licences and services with a large tier 1 telecoms network operator.
