Infinity Lithium transitions executive director Vincent Ledoux-Pedailles to non-executive role

The company will continue to transition the executive management to focus on the next stage of project development following completion of the EIT InnoEnergy funding deal.

Infinity Lithium Corporation Ltd (ASX:INF) (FRA:3PM) is transitioning executive director Vincent Ledoux-Pedailles to a non-executive director role as the company moves into the technical advancement stage of its strategy to deliver battery-grade lithium hydroxide into Europe's 'cleaner' energy future.

This strategy is centred on the company's San José Lithium Project in Spain, a fully integrated industrial project focused on the production of battery-grade lithium chemicals from a mica feedstock that represents the EU’s second-largest JORC-compliant hard rock lithium deposit.

Management team transition

The company is transitioning its executive management team to focus on the technical advancement and delivery of battery-grade lithium hydroxide to facilitate offtake negotiations and development of its in-country management team.

This follows the successful completion of a key funding deal with KIC InnoEnergy SE (EIT InnoEnergy).

Phase one technical work continues to advance at Dorfner Anzaplan’s EU facilities in accordance with funds provided under the agreement with EIT InnoEnergy.

"Significant contributions"

Ledoux-Pedailles has provided consultancy services to Infinity since late 2018 and was appointed to the board as an executive director in early 2019.

Infinity acknowledges his "significant contributions" in the advancement of the San José Lithium Project pre-feasibility study and the delivery of the funding and services agreements with EIT InnoEnergy.

Ledoux-Pedailles has advised that he will not seek re-election to the board at the annual general meeting later this year.
