GB Group PLC (LON:GBG), the data theft, identify and fraud prevention group, told shareholders that first-quarter trading has been better than expected with growth year-on-year.
A specific one-off customer project in the US helped the numbers, but the underlying performance has been consistent with a previous update in June, it said.
The impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic changes by region and product, it noted, but overall the first-quarter figures were still at pre-COVID-19 levels, specifically customer churn, solvency and bad debt.
Business from new customers is still being won, the group added, albeit at a slower pace than previously.
“We remain focussed on effective cash management and maintaining operational capability,” it said in a trading statement.
