Defence communications technology specialist Scotty Group PLC(AIM: SCO) has received new orders for its ‘Rollabout’ secure videoconferencing equipment worth €550,000. The orders were placed by German and other undisclosed armed forces. The company will also provide SCOTTY Mobile and Promax units and upgrade existing equipment.
The Scotty Rollabout System is the first of a new range of tempest video systems, which provides "secure" high-definition videoconferencing and data presentation with military encryption integration, the group said.
The orders add to previous contracts in September and take the total proceeds of recent Rollabout and other videoconferencing equipment orders to €1.25 million. The latest order is expected to be delivered in December 2009 and early 2010.
