Perseus Mining continues to advance Yaouré Gold Project construction; first gold pour on track for December 2020

Yaouré Gold Project remains on schedule to achieve the stretch target of first gold pour in December 2020, subject to no COVID-19 related delays.

Perseus Mining Limited (ASX:PRU) (TSE:PRU) (OTCMKTS:PMNXF) is making quick progress on the development of its third operating gold mine, Yaouré in Côte d’Ivoire.

The company has released a video which shows the progress on construction of the run-of-mine (ROM) pad, primary crusher, reclaim tunnel, ball and SAG mills, CIL tanks and other infrastructure at the site.

Perseus enjoyed a productive June quarter, with its Edikan (Ghana) and Sissingué operations (Côte d’Ivoire) continuing to perform strongly.

Managing director and CEO Jeff Quartermaine recently told Proactive: “It has been a strong period for us, we produced 64,676 ounces for the quarter, which is about 12% up on where we were in the previous period.”

Of that production, about 64% came from Edikan (41,281 ounces) and 36% from came Sissingué (23,395 ounces).
