Applied Graphene Materials PLC (LON:AGM) has added a major distribution deal in Europe, following similar agreements covering the US and other regions in recent months.
Under the distribution agreement signed with chemical distributor Arpadis Benelux, AGM’s Genable graphene dispersions technology will be introduced directly into Germany, Spain, France, Portugal and Scandinavia.
The agreement is exclusive in all regions apart from the UK, where AGM’s own sales team will continue to work with their strong existing pipeline.
AGM said that now, on top of its own commercial hubs in the UK and US, various signed distribution agreements with local expert chemicals and coatings distributors also cover Canada, Germany, Spain, France, Portugal, The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, Greece, Italy, South Africa, Scandinavia and Japan.
Arpadis, said AGM chief executive Adrian Potts, are “well-known and highly respected by those organisations purchasing specialty chemicals in our target sector markets in Europe”.
The Belgium-based distributor, which works with major global chemicals producers and SME manufacturers to help them meet their environmental responsibilities by seeking alternative products and delivering more efficient supply chains, has a strong focus on products aligned with the coatings, polyurethanes, inks, polymers, aerospace and textiles markets.
He added that following the agreements signed over the last month Maroon Group in the US and Will & Co in the Benelux region, the company “has substantially increased its reach and global sales network with over 60 people now focused on selling our products into markets across the globe”.
