Botanical Holdings Plc's Carl Esprey speaks to Proactive soon after announcing its medicinal cannabis-focused subsidiary EuroCan had completed an initial purchase of land in Portugal where it will start its European growing operations. He says they've also this week bought the neighbouring farm taking their total landholding in the country to 31 hectares. Esprey adds that local engineering firm TechnoEdif Engenharia has been hired to carry out pre-construction architectural, engineering and procurement work to prepare for construction, which is targeted by the end of the year.
