OptiBiotix Health PLC (LON:OPTI) said its partner for Australia and New Zealand has extended the commercial collaboration to include gut health line WellBiome.
Maxum Foods already has access to OptiBiotix’s SlimBiome and the OptiBiome products under an earlier manufacturing, supply and profit-sharing agreement.
This is the fourth extension deal since the launch of WellBiome just over a month ago.
“The agreement recognises Maxum's success in building sales of SlimBiome and OptiBiome in the territory with the signature of an exclusive licence agreement for OptiBiome with one of Australia's largest weight management companies,” Dr Fred Narbel, managing director of the OptiBiotix’s prebiotics division said in a statement.
OptiBiotix is a specialist in the human microbiome, the ecosystem of bacteria that resides in the gut and on the skin. Its new approach to wellbeing has seen it develop compounds to tackle obesity, high cholesterol and diabetes.
