Van Elle confirms trading continues as forecast

As of 24 July, net cash was £10mln having paid £2mln of deferred payments to HMRC

Van Elle Holdings PLC (LON:VANL) confirmed it is trading slightly ahead of the mid-case scenario forecast it made in April.

The piling and ground engineer continues to expect group revenue to be around 25% below the initial forecast for the financial year to April 2021, recovering to 80% of expected levels to September from a 40% drop in May.

The AIM-listed firm said last month that trading had begun to recover following the easing of lockdown.

As of 24 July, net cash was £10mln having paid £2mln of deferred payments to HMRC.

Shares added 3% to 32.5p on Monday at the opening bell.
