A select group of exploration companies will join Proactive’s John Phillips at the upcoming virtual investor conference on Tuesday, July 28 at 12pm AEST (10am AWST).
The CEO Investor Sessions Australia is an online variant of the popular conference format the media company has run for over a decade and enables communication between interested investors and some of Australia’s most innovative businesses.
Joining Proactive this time around are gold/copper explorer Emmerson Resources Ltd (ASX:ERM), West Africa focused gold explorer Predictive Discovery Ltd (ASX:PDI) and Matador Mining Ltd (ASX:MZZ) which holds a dominant position along a major under-explored gold structure in Canada.
Rob Bills, managing director of Emmerson Resources Ltd will present at the session, and Paul Roberts, managing director, will represent Predictive Discovery. Matador Mining will have Adam Kiley, Corporate Development, outline the company’s plans.
Well-funded for gold and copper exploration
Emmerson recently secured commitments to raise up to $3.5 million in an oversubscribed placement to institutional and sophisticated investors with a share purchase plan (SPP) also planned to raise up to a further $1 million.
Proceeds from the capital raising will be used to accelerate exploration of the company's gold and copper-gold prospects in New South Wales as well as to support its emerging gold royalty business.
Seven active drill rigs in West Africa
Predictive is focused on accelerated exploration at its West African gold projects in Guinea and Cote d'Ivoire with seven drill rigs active.
The company’s first batch of assay results from ongoing reverse circulation drilling at the Kaninko Project in Guinea have further widened and confirmed the NE Bankan gold mineralised zone.
Best results are 99 metres at 1.17 g/t gold from 1-metre to the end of hole and 15 metres at 3.42 g/t from surface.
Expanding gold resource at Newfoundland
Matador is set to begin a 12,000-metre drilling campaign at the Cape Ray Gold Project in Newfoundland, Canada, targeting resource expansion and priority greenfield prospects.
The company's exploration strategy aims to grow the resource base to a size that would support a 10-year operation through brownfields expansion and new greenfield discoveries.
Mobilisation to the site is underway with road clearance and camp maintenance nearing completion.
