Attraqt appoints ecommerce expert as new chief product officer

Paul Tough joins the group from eComp Consulting, a digital strategy firm that he co-founded in 2014 with Mark Adams, Attraqt's current CEO

Attraqt Group PLC (LON:ATQT) said it has appointed Paul Tough as its chief product officer with immediate effect.

The ecommerce group said Tough has joined it from eComp Consulting, a specialist digital strategy firm that he co-founded in 2014 with Mark Adams, Attraqt's recently appointed chief executive.

Prior to this, Tough founded ecommerce systems integration company Portaltech, which was acquired in 2011 by Italian group Reply.

Attraqt said Tough’s expertise will be utilised to drive forward its product vision and roadmap to “deliver the innovation and product excellence that will enable e-retailers and brands to deliver unique and compelling ecommerce buying experiences for their customers”.

"We are delighted to have Paul join Attraqt at this exciting time in our product development. I have worked with Paul for a number of years and believe that he will bring enormous value to the group through his sector experience and cross functional business expertise as we seek to take advantage of the increasing need for brands to react fast to changing customer behaviour", CEO Adams said in a statement.

Attraqt shares were flat at 28p in mid-morning trading on Friday.
