The final trading day of the week looks set to be a quiet one on the corporate calendar, with publican Fuller, Smith & Turner PLC (LON:FSTA) the only major firm scheduled to report its final results.
Fuller’s results fall on a somewhat apt date, the day before the UK’s pubs are set to reopen as lockdown measures are relaxed.

England’s pubs are set to enjoy a £210mln spending splurge when they reopen over the weekend, with sales tipped to jump by 32% compared to the average pre-coronavirus weekend after three months of pent-up demand.
With the reopening imminent, investors are likely to focus on the company’s outlook as it emerges from lockdown, as well as the full extent of the damage lockdown has inflicted on its finances.
On the macro front, there will also be June UK services PMI data for investors to chew over as it will provide additional clarity to how hard the sector has been hit by the slowdown as well as any signs of recovery as restrictions have eased.
