Blue Star Capital's portfolio firm Dynasty eSports inks partnership deal with Malaysia Esports Federation

Under the deal Dynasty will provide its eSports portal management platform to enable “effective management and control” of the eSports ecosystem in Malaysia

Blue Star Capital PLC (LON:BLU) said its portfolio company, Dynasty eSports, has signed a five-year exclusive partnership agreement with the Malaysia ESports Federation (MESF).

Under the deal, Dynasty will provide its eSports portal management (EPM) platform to enable “effective management and control” of the eSports ecosystem within Malaysia, with the EPM to be fully white-labelled, customised and branded for MESF.

MESF will also endorse, promote and drive all eSports related traffic in Malaysia to the EPM platform, as well as regulate and ensure all domestic events, leagues and tournaments in the country will be exclusively hosted on the MESF platform.

Blue Star, which owns 13.7% of Dynasty, said that the group will generate income during the partnership via a “matrix” of revenue streams including management fees, advertising, sponsorship and exclusive broadcast rights with MESF.

"Today's news is potentially transformational for Dynasty, placing it at the forefront of esports developments across Malaysia. The five-year exclusive agreement will enable Dynasty to derive income from management fees, advertising, broadcast rights and much more”, said Blue Star chief executive Tony Fabrizi.
