Perseus Mining remains on target to achieve first gold pour in December 2020: video

The company’s two producing gold mines, Edikan in Ghana and Sissingué in Côte d’Ivoire, produced a combined 57,983 ounces of gold during the March quarter.

Perseus Mining Limited (ASX:PRU) (TSE:PRU) (OTCMKTS:PMNXF) remains on schedule to achieve the stretch target of first gold pour in December 2020 from its Yaouré Gold Project in Cote d’Ivoire.

Yaouré will be the company’s third gold mine and integral to growing production to 500,000 ounces per annum by FY2022.

The following video shows drone footage of the mine site under construction in May 2020 and outlines construction progress.

Perseus is a major beneficiary of the recent S&P Dow Jones Indices rebalances by being added to the S&P/ASX 200 Index.

This change will be effective at the open of trading on June 22, 2020.

New gold acquisition

Perseus is acquiring Exore Resources Ltd (ASX:ERX) (OTCMKTS:NLIOF) which will result in the company gaining a gold project near its Sissingué Gold Mine in Côte d’Ivoire.

The parties have entered into a Scheme Implementation Deed which will see Perseus acquire 100% of Exore for a fully diluted equity value of A$59.8 million.
