West Wits Mining hoping for news soon on mining permit for flagship Witwatersrand Basin Project

West Wits Mining Limited's (ASX:WW1) CEO Jac van Heerden tells Proactive's Andrew Scott they've completed and handed in all the paperwork for a mining right at the Witwatersrand Basin Project in South Africa and they're now in the process of working with the mines department with the hope of hearing back on it in the near future.

''That'll allows us to reopen the old shafts and to start our underground mining operation - we've got two small open pits that we'll also target which we see as providing initial cashflow''.

He also updates on work at its Mt Cecelia Gold Project in WA’s Pilbara region.
