Inspiration Healthcare Group PLC (LON:IHC) said it has now delivered two NHS ventilator consignments against orders it received in March.
The med-tech specialist added that it has been working hard with its suppliers and expects to ship further equipment over the “forthcoming weeks”.
“Our logistics team is working tirelessly with our suppliers and we will make further announcements when we have additional deliveries,” Inspiration chief executive Neil Campbell said in a statement.
On March 16 and 20, the company revealed it had received significant orders from the NHS for medical equipment and ventilators as the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic ratcheted up demand.
“Even before the winning of the NHS contract in March, the company has enjoyed strong growth in the underlying business,” the CEO noted.
“Now with a much greater degree of certainty in fulfilling these NHS contracts we anticipate that the effect of COVID-19 will have a positive impact on our outlook.”
