Crossword Cybersecurity inks new consulting deal with Agria Pet Insurance

Agria will use Crossword's Virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO) service to improve its cybersecurity posture

Crossword Cybersecurity PLC (LON:CCS) said its consulting division has signed a three-year contract with Agria Pet Insurance to become a “trusted cybersecurity partner”.

The AIM-listed firm said Agria will use its Virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO) service to improve its cybersecurity posture following the completion of a project to evaluate the insurer's security controls.

The deal is the fifth insurance sector client the Crossword has secured over the last eighteen months and will see Agira receive regular testing of its cybersecurity processes and technology to minimise security risks and ensure continued compliance with regulations.

"We are delighted to form a long-term partnership with Agria Pet Insurance. This deal shows how well-received our vCISO product is with clients and in particular how well received it has been in the Insurance sector”, Stuart Jubb, managing director of Crossword Consulting said in a statement.

“Building and maintaining a cybersecurity team can be a slow and expensive process. Crossword's vCISO offering gives companies immediate access to expertise and technology that can make a rapid impact, improving cybersecurity posture, processes, and minimising risks", he added.

The company's shares were steady at 305p in late-morning trading on Monday.
