Westminster noted that feedback from the first live trial was “extremely positive” with all passengers screened.

"Working with Menzies Aviation on the trial has been excellent. I need to thank all those involved at Menzies Aviation both in the UK and their team in Sweden for their efforts”, Westminster Group’s general manager, Hamish Russell said in a statement.

Westminster continues to add to its fever screening offering ensuring products are adaptable, cost-effective and can be implemented and upgraded into existing processes or technology", he added.

Shares in the company jumped 6.4% higher to 11.2p in early trading on Wednesday.
