Indivior PLC (LON:INDV) said it is considering its options to appeal the US Patent and Trademark Office's final decision regarding a generic version of its top-selling drug Suboxone.
The drugmaker has been battling against Indian pharma company Dr. Reddy’s, which launched a cut-price version of the drug– Indivior’s blockbuster treatment for opiate drug addiction – two years ago.

On Wednesday, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board ruled that Dr Reddy’s demonstrated that certain claims of Suboxone’s patent are unpatentable.
Shares dipped 2% to 62.76p on Wednesday in early trades.
