Perseus Mining development work at Yaouré Gold Project 52% complete

The company’s two producing gold mines, Edikan in Ghana and Sissingué in Côte d’Ivoire, produced a combined 57,983 ounces of gold during the March quarter.

Perseus Mining Ltd's (ASX:PRU) development works at the Yaouré Gold Project in Cote d’Ivoire are 52% complete and are tracking on schedule and budget for first gold production in December this year.

Yaouré remains on schedule to achieve the stretch target of first gold pour, subject to no COVID-19 related delays, thus becoming the company's third operating West African mine.

The company has released a new video revealing progress at the site.

It shows drone footage of the mine site under construction and outlines construction progress showcasing the primary crusher, reclaim tunnel, water services ponds, ball and SAG mills, CIL tanks, HV switchyard, tailings storage facility as well as the river abstraction and powerline corridor.

The company’s two producing gold mines, namely Edikan in Ghana and Sissingué in Côte d’Ivoire, produced a combined total of 57,983 ounces of gold during the March 2020 quarter.

Perseus maintained its targeted cash margin of more than US$400 per ounce of gold produced, generating a notional cash flow of about US$24 million from operations during the quarter.
