Ryanair to continue minimal schedule to June as April traffic falls by over 99%

Total traffic last month plummeted 99.6% to 40,000 passengers compared to April last year

Ryanair Holdings plc (LON:RYA) said it expects to carry minimal traffic during the months of May and June respecting EU travel restrictions to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The budget airline operated 600 scheduled flights in April, including rescue and medical flights, against the 75,501 journeys it budgeted for.

Total traffic plummeted 99.6% to 40,000 passengers compared to April last year.

Shares rose 1% to €9.29 on Tuesday at noon.
