ITV PLC (LON:ITV) has postponed the Love Island series 7 to 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The reality show was going to air this summer, with the participants gathered in a villa in Mallorca.

“We have tried every which way to make Love Island this summer but logistically it's just not possible to produce it in a way that safeguards the wellbeing of everyone involved and that for us is the priority,” said Kevin Lygo, director of television at the FTSE 100 broadcaster.
The programme, which involves men and women swapping partners until they meet the love of their life, is one of ITV’s most successful productions.
Last summer it averaged 4.3mln TV viewers, representing 19% share, which increased to 5.6mln including online viewing, with commercial partnerships lifting total incremental revenue by £8mln year-on-year.
Shares tanked 5% to 71.4p on Monday at noon.
