COVID 19 update. “We transitioned to working from home from mid-March and the team has adapted impressively; the fact that nearly all our business tools are cloud-based ensured this process went smoothly.
We are fortunate that our subscription business model is inherently resilient to the challenges that many businesses are currently facing. Whilst we naturally expect disruption to the appetite of some prospective customers to adopt new technology at this time, we regard the current international lockdown as a catalyst that potentially accelerates the trends of remote and digital working that are helpful to our business in the medium and long term. “

Jadestone Energy 34.5p £159m (AIM:JSE)
Jadestone notes the collapse of global crude oil benchmarks, with oil demand significantly impacted by the extended COVID-19 pandemic and the potential for prolonged oversupply. Against this backdrop, the Company believes it is prudent to implement stringent capital reductions across its portfolio and is therefore further reducing its 2020 capital expenditure guidance.
Jadestone's 2020 capital programme is almost entirely discretionary, and on March 19, 2020 the Company announced that it would defer the Nam Du and U Minh development project. Further, the Company today announces that is has opted to defer its Australia infill drilling campaign into 2021. This delay aims to best align capital spending with a strengthening oil price environment, maximising potential future returns, while preserving the Company's balance sheet and net cash position.

A metallurgical simulation model of the mass and energy balances of the central processing circuits has been completed to allow appropriate sizing of plant equipment and to support subsequent design work. -- The updated flowsheet includes three stage leaching that utilises the full laterite profile. Low grade material is also upgraded through screening to be used in the third neutralisation stage. -- A residue filtration section has also been added that will allow for dry stacking of laterite waste back into the original pit.
