Plus500 boss leaves after four years in the role

Asaf Elimelech will continue in a transitional role alongside an interim boss until a permanent replacement is appointed

Plus500 Ltd (LON:PLUS) announced chief executive Asaf Elimelech is leaving with immediate effect for unknown reasons.

Elimelech has a notice period of 12 months so he will continue in a transitional role alongside an interim boss until a permanent replacement is appointed.

Elimelech joined the AIM-listed company in 2012 and has been chief executive since 2012.

The contract for difference provider chose chief operating officer David Zruia to act as an interim alongside his usual responsibilities.

Zruia has been at the company for ten years, seven of which as COO.

Shares dipped 1% to 1,118p on Monday morning.
