Each has been extended for an extra three years, expiring in April 2023, the group said.

"We are delighted to have been awarded a further three-year term on two of our wholly-owned concessions in Côte d'Ivoire which secures the company's exploration interests in these gold projects,” Bernard Aylward, Kodal chief executive said in a statement.
“During this unprecedented period, I am very pleased to be able to report a strong increase in interest in gold assets, demonstrating the potential value in the company's portfolio," he added.
Dabakala and Korhogo are two of Kodal’s three wholly-owned gold projects in Côte d'Ivoire, the third, Boundiali, is currently under application. It also has the Tiebissou, Nielle and M'Bahaikro assets in a joint venture with Resolute Mining, and those are also under application.
At Nielle, exploration drilling has been planned to follow up on gold mineralisation that was defined in a previous programme. Due to coronavirus the planned work has been postponed and will re-commence towards the end of the year, after the wet season.
