Quiz reopens online operations with heightened safety measures

The clothier is ensuring its distribution centre has a reduced number of employees to implement social distancing

Quiz PLC (LON:QUIZ) shot up on Wednesday following the reopening of its online operations, which had been closed in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

The occasionwear retailer said its distribution centre “will operate in strict accordance with all government and health authority guidance”.

The number of employees working at the same time has been reduced to ensure social distancing and those who are willing and able to return to work safely will do so.

The AIM-listed firm added it is also implementing deep cleaning of the facility and it is providing personal protection equipment.

Shares advanced 14% to 6.21p on Wednesday morning.
