Power generator Drax Group PLC (LON;DRX) has made the head of its generation arm redundant.
Andy Koss’s service agreement with Drax Power Limited will end on 30 June as part of a restructuring of the generation business’s management.
Koss will also not seek re-election as a director at the forthcoming AGM.
Philip Cox, chair, said: "On behalf of the board I would like to thank Andy for his 15 years' service at Drax, during which time he has made a major contribution to the transformation of Drax into a leading generator and supplier of renewable energy.”
Shares rose 3% to 181p.
