AdEPT Technology Group PLC (LON:ADT) shares rose on Tuesday as the company highlighted a “success story” of helping over 200,000 teachers and 900,000 students in the UK transition to remote learning during the coronavirus pandemic.
The online services group said since the lockdown was instituted it has seen and managed a 1,047% increase in the number of users of its Freedom2Roam remote working solution, which has been deployed for over 3,000 of its 4,000 served schools through the company’s partnership with the London Grid for Learning.

AdEPT also said it is managing a 100% increase in support calls during the outbreak, as well as shipping hundreds of new laptops, setting up hundreds of virtual private network (VPN) connections and managing a 70% increase in customer demand for internet bandwidth and licensing.
Shares in the company rose 5.3% to 200p in mid-morning trading.
