Rentokil Initial PLC (LON:RTO) said it expects higher demand for hygiene services, such as disinfection, during the pandemic and in the recovery phase.
The pest control firm is training staff to support increased request and plans to have at least an extra specialised 2,500 technicians by the end of March.

The pest control firm still dropped guidance and implemented cost reduction measures such as freezing new recruitment, cutting salaries and refocused marketing budgets.
The FTSE 100-listed company also suspended dividend payments and drew from its revolving credit facility, bringing total cash to £650mln.
Shares dropped 11% to 331p on Wednesday at the opening bell.
