Tasty abandons takeaway strategy and shuts completely

Tasty had a cash buffer of £2.9mln at the end of 2019

Tasty PLC (LON:TAST) has abandoned plans to run its 56 Wildwood and Dim T restaurants as takeaways and has fully shut the chains from today.

The restaurants closed to customers yesterday to help halt the spread of coronavirus, but takeaway and delivery services were still being provided.

Now, the entire estate has been shut to ensure the welfare of its employees, customers and the wider community, it said.

Tasty had a cash buffer of £2.9mln at the end of 2019 and combined with cash preservation measures expects to have sufficient financial resources for the foreseeable future.
