AIM-listed FastForward has a 1.18% interest in Portage, which, based on yesterday's closing price on the US OTC of US$0.11 per share, is worth around US$1.4mln

FastForward Innovations Ltd (LON:FFWD), a company focused on making investments in fast-growing and industry-leading businesses, has highlighted an announcement released on 13 March 2020 by its investee company, Portage Biotech Inc. (OTMKTS:PTGEF).

AIM-listed FastForward has a 1.18% interest in Portage, which, based on yesterday's closing price on the US OTC of US$0.11 per share, is worth around US$1.4mln.

Announcing that it has filed its third-quarter financial statements and accompanying management and discussion, Portage revealed that its Intensity therapeutics subsidiary announced, in October, the dosing of its first patient with a combination of its drug INT230-6 and Merck's Ketruda, part of a clinical trial collaboration agreement with Merck to study this combination.

In November, the group added, Intensity also announced that its experimental product, INT230-6 induced prolonged stable disease with abscopal effects and immune responses in multiple solid tumors.

It said this data was selected for an oral presentation at the 34th annual Society for the Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) meeting.

Portgage also highlighted that, in the period, further progress on preclinical work and progress was made in furthering projects from the group’s other subsidiaries towards the clinic.
