Tech-focused investment company Sure Ventures PLC (LON:SURE) associate Sure Valley Ventures has invested €750,000 into artificial intelligence security company Getvisibility.
The money is part of a €1.25mln funding round for the Cork-based software group.
Getvisibility has developed an AI-based enterprise security product that categorises, structures and organises data within Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Pdf files, which can amount to 80% of the information held by an organisation.
Barry Downes, Sure Valley’s chief investment officer, said: "Getvisibility's software leverages AI to discover, classify and protect critical data.
“With a world-class team, proprietary technology and given its total addressable market is $4bn today, Getvisibility's opportunity is vast.
“It already has an impressive list of blue-chip clients across various sectors including oil & gas, finance and healthcare, and is growing rapidly.”
Sure Ventures has a 25.9% stake in Sure Valley.
