Mawson Resources Limited (TSE:MAW) (OTCMKTS:MWSNF) posted more drill results from its giant Rajapalot gold project in northern Finland, including the best hole of the 2020 season to date.
That hole showed 7.2 metres (m) at 21.7 grams per ton (g/t) gold from 267.9 m, including an intersection of two metres at 52.7 g/t gold from 271 m, Mawson said.
The firm has so far completed 34 holes for 14,232 m, out of a 15,000 m planned program.

In late February, the Vancouver-based company said it had sunk the "best hole ever drilled". That one hit 17.7 m at 3.8 g/t gold, 880 parts per million (ppm) cobalt and 4.3 g/t gold equivalent from 293 m at the South Palokas prospect on the property.
"The 2020 winter drill program continues to deliver, with an extremely high-grade result, our best of the season so far ...," said Mike Hudson, Mawson's chairman and CEO today, referring to the 7.2 m at 21.7 g/t assay.
"Improving grade and continuity of high-grade gold-cobalt mineralization at depth is particularly encouraging. Strong newsflow is anticipated to continue over the coming months with only 13 holes reported from a total 34 holes drilled to date, with drilling ongoing."
Palokas prospect
Assays reported on Monday all come from the Palokas prospect at the huge project, Mawson noted.
Other highlights included 2.6 m at 6.2 g/t gold from 234.3 m, and 4.8 m at a grade of 2.4 g/t gold, 894 ppm cobalt, 2.9 g/t gold equivalent (AuEq) from 119.9 m.
Mawson says it's a leading Nordic Arctic exploration company with a focus on its flagship Rajapalot project.
Mawson shares eased 4.7% in Toronto to C$0.20.
