Futura Medical PLC (LON:FUM) said it is hosting an investor seminar later this month at which it will share the latest internal analysis and literature on its breakthrough erectile dysfunction gel, MED3000.
The update follows the company’s phase III clinical trial, called FM57, which revealed the treatment, which uses the company’s DermaSys technology, to be “highly effective” and safe.
The March 26 gathering will hear from Ken James, the company’s head of research and development, who will present the “ongoing research and analysis of the FM57 and MED3000”.
It will also hear from Professor David Ralph, a member of Futura’s advisory panel and a world-leading expert in the area of erectile dysfunction and male infertility.
Chief executive James Barder said: "After an extensive internal evaluation of the FM57 clinical data, we are pleased to be able to share our ongoing clinical and literature-based research and analysis, examining MED3000 efficacy and modes of action in ED [erectile dysfunction].
“In addition, following positive interactions with an EU Notified Body announced in February 2020, we look forward to providing the market with further updates regarding the formal proceedings of MED3000 to be approved as a medical for treatment of ED."
