HighGold Mining Inc (CVE:HIGH) (OTCMKTS:HGGOF), the North America-focused explorer, has added Anne Labelle, a geologist and lawyer, to the board as a director.
Labelle has been dealing with mineral exploration and development for 25 years.
She is the president and CEO of Sterling Green Law Corp, a law firm she founded in 2014.
Labelle was the vice-president of legal and sustainability of Midas Gold Corp (TSE:MAX) from 2011 to 2018.
She oversaw the legal affairs, management and direction of the environmental, permitting, regulatory and public affairs aspects of the Stibnite gold project in Idaho, USA.

"On behalf of the board of directors, I would like to welcome Anne Labelle to the team," said HighGold director and president and CEO, Darwin Green.
"Anne has an impressive resume and adds considerable strength to the board in the fields of governance, sustainability, and project permitting."
The firm has also issued over 1.3 million stock options with an exercise price of C$1.00 per share for the purchase of up to the same amount of company shares, expiring on March 3, 2025.
These are being issued to directors, officers and employees of HighGold and are subject to approval by regulatory authorities.
