Gold continuing to look 'very strong' as a hedge against coronovirus uncertainty

Mining Capital's Alastair Ford gives his assessment of the impact coronavirus is having on the commodity markets.

''What we initially saw was, what looks like now, as complacency but that analysis hasn't really changed in some respects''.

''We're still bang in the middle of the first quarter and it wouldn't surprise me if actually the virus is fading by the end of March and that original analysis turns out to be correct.''
