AFC Energy appoints its company secretary Graeme Lewis as finance director with immediate effect

“Graeme's highly regarded commercial experience, particularly in the temporary and off-grid power markets will be a key contributor to AFC Energy's current commercial focus"

AFC Energy PLC (LON:AFC) has announced the appointment of its company secretary Graeme Lewis as its finance director with immediate effect.

In a statement, the leading provider of hydrogen power generation technologies said Lewis will also retain the role of company secretary.

It noted that he is an experienced chartered accountant and CFO who has held senior positions across multiple jurisdictions in listed and PE backed companies, including some of the world's largest distributors of temporary and off-grid power systems.

Commenting on the appointment, Adam Bond, AFC’s chief executive officer, said: "Having been in the role of CEO since late 2018, we are now pleased to welcome Graeme onto the Board with immediate effect.

“Graeme's highly regarded commercial experience, particularly in the temporary and off-grid power markets will be a key contributor to AFC Energy's current commercial focus and drive towards system deployment in 2020 where he brings a unique understanding of successful business models and opportunities in one of the Company's key addressable markets."
