OptiBiotix Health PLC (LON:OPTI) has updated on a number of developments to support the commercial roll-out of its products.
Chief among them was the complete evaluation of the ingredients of weight management line SlimBiome to ensure they are generally recognised as safe (GRAS) per US Code 21 CFR 170.30.
“Self-affirming SlimBiome as GRAS will support commercialisation of SlimBiome as a food ingredient in the $7.6bn food and beverage market in the USA,” said OptiBiotix chief executive Stephen O’Hara.
The company also said it had launched a subscription service for its online store that allows customers to repeat orders and benefit from a discount on product and delivery costs (www.optibiotix.online). And, recognising the ongoing support of investors it has created a new discount code for them (INVESTOR20).
