Morning Report: Novacyt reports 'unprecedented interest' in its coronavirus diagnostic

Novacyt (LON:NCYT) says there had been “unprecedented interest” in its coronavirus diagnostic launched a week ago. Its unit Primedesign has already received orders for 33,000 tests and requests for quotations for another 32,000 from over 30 countries.

DP Poland (LON:DPP), which operates the Domino’s Pizza brand in Poland, saw like-for-like sales growth accelerate sharply in the second half of 2019. Sales for the whole of 2019 year rose by 13%.

NQ Minerals (LON:NQMI) has received approval to acquire the Mt Block permit around the firm’s flagship Hellyer base and precious metals project in Tasmania. The 46 square-kilometre area effectively triples NQ’s footprint.

Burberry has temporarily CLOSED a third of its stores in China due to the effect of coronavirus.  The FTSE 100-listed fashion house has closed 24 of its 64 stores while the rest have seen a “significant” decline in activity.

Ride hailing giant Uber has repeated its prediction that it will move into profit by the end of 2020 even though it lost more than a billion dollars in the final quarter of 2019. Revenue jumped 37% to US$4bn while the number of journeys climbed 28%.
