Corero Network Security PLC (LON:CNS), the network security company, has announced two new customer wins for its SmartWall DDoS (distributed denial of service) protection product, plus an additional purchase from an existing customer, totalling US$1.0mln over the course of the contracts.
In a statement, the AIM-listed firm said one of the new customers is a US regional service provider of internet and telephony services to business and private customers, which has ordered multiple SmartWall 10Gbps solutions with a supporting one-year contract for SecureWatch services.

The other, it added, is a US-based provider of hosting, data protection and colocation services, who will deploy SmartWall 10Gbps products at a number of its sites with a supporting three-year contract for SecureWatch services.
Corero said the additional order is from an existing SaaS (Softare as a Service) customer for SmartWall 10Gbps solutions with a supporting three-year contract for SecureWatch services, forming part of the customer's ongoing global deployment.
