Talktalk keeps outlook unchanged as cost savings come through

Headline revenue for the three months to December dipped 1% to £383mln, while new fibre subscriptions inched up 1% to 148,000

Talktalk Telecom Group PLC (LON:TALK) said it has outperformed the market for fast internet solutions in its third-quarter even though sales were lukewarm.

Headline revenue for the three months to December dipped 1% to £383mln, while new fibre subscriptions inched up 1% to 148,000 – although they were down 15% on the second quarter.

The FTSE 250-listed network provider added the voice division keeps declining though maintained full-year guidance as costs saving had offset the fall in revenue here.
